What to Expect

Each ensemble will perform two to three pieces that highlight their unique strengths and artistry in a collaborative, professional atmosphere. Students will learn from detailed, constructive feedback tailored to the ensemble’s performance.

Adjudicated performances will include:

  • Written and recorded feedback from a panel of expert adjudicators, offering insights that can shape future rehearsals and performances.

  • Numerical scores based on specific musical criteria, such as tone quality, technique, and interpretation, to guide educational growth.

  • Recognition through awards, celebrating achievements and motivating students to strive for excellence.

Who Is It For

This festival is ideal for directors with ensembles of at least 30 participants who value:

  • Educational growth and opportunities for students to refine their musicianship.

  • Professional, constructive feedback to inspire continuous improvement.

  • Celebrating their ensemble’s talent and hard work in a supportive, world-class environment.

Whether you’re looking to enrich your students’ educational journey or provide them with a performance experience they’ll never forget, the Symphony of Magic Festival is the perfect destination for music education and inspiration.
